Step 1.
Let’s talk about YOU
During your Initial Assessment Emily will discuss your health history, concerns, and what you want to get out of treatment.
Step 2.
Let’s see how things are moving
From here, there’s a physical assessment for joint range of motion and function. Emily’s approach to osteopathy is gentle, with the goal of appealing to your nervous system. This allows for stable, long-lasting changes to happen.
Step 3.
Follow-ups
Following up is an important part of the process. We want to build momentum and get you moving and feeling better. Follow-up treatments typically take 30-45 minutes.
Step 4.
Not so often
The goal is to start spreading out the frequency of appointments. As you improve, less intervention is needed because the body is amazing and starts to heal itself. Eventually we want to reach the point where treatment is no longer needed.
